or "How much does it cost?"
This page will explain all you
need to know.
|
Want
do I need to do? |
You
will need to contact the Mr
Amerjit Matharu or Mr Kuldip
Sangha. This can be done at
the bottom of this page. You
need to let them know what the
programme is for, how many people
they expect to arrive, whether
you want to take responsibility
of the Langar and what hall
they wish to make use of.
|
What
do you mean 'responsibility
of the Langar?' |
This
means the purchase of the Langar
food. You can buy all the food
if you want or we can buy it
on your behalf.
|
Who
arranges the Granthis (Preist)? |
We
will arrange for the Granthis.
|
What
time do I need to be at the
hall on the day? |
The
hall opens at 7am for the Langar
prepartion. It is advised that
you reach the hall at this time
if possible.
|
How
big is the hall? |
About
50-60 people can sit in the
small hall, about 80-90 people
can sit in the medium hall and
about 200-220 people can sit
in the big hall.
|
So
how much will it cost me? |
For
a normal programme, it will
cost £60 for the small
hall including the medium hall
for the Langar. To hire the
big hall, it will cost £20
per hour. The food will cost
about £50 and £25

you may wish to give more to
the Granthis and also make a
donation to the Basingstoke
